Order the lampwork flowers to make the Bloomin Flower Rings designed by Cassie Donlen and featured in the April 2009 issue of Bead and Button magazine. The magazine article has step by step directions with photos on how to make the rings.
A mini kit with the lampwork flower, wire, dangles, etc... to make the rings exactly like the photos in the magazine is also available for purchase.
Please note, the lampwork beads are made to order and I will need a day or two to make them. -Cassie
Plus for members of the Bead and Button community,
(it is free to register) you can see an on-line video of the rings being made. (as of 2/24/09 the video was not available yet. It is produced by the staff of Bead and Button. I haven't had a chance to view the video yet but can't wait! -Cassie)
All but 2 of the lampwork flowers have 3 sets of beads that make up the flower. The dark purple and light purple flowers have a taller bead that makes only 2 layers. These 2 layer flower sets sit up higher on the finger. It will make a bolder statement.
If you want a flat purple flower that has 3 layers like the other beads in the rings, order from the drop down box. There is no photo of this flower in the pic but the middle layer will be the pale purple colors and the top tiny bead will be green.
