This course steel file will get the job done of rounding and shaping silver and copper. It doesn't work as fast or give as smooth of finish as the Grobet brand but for the price savings, it is a very decent file.

Just use a finer steel file to work the edges to a smoother finish or heavier to smoother grit sanding sticks or sanding paper.
